It’s Awal birthday today! Well not quite his birthday but more like his 1st year with us as his forever home and our furkid. Awal, the baby kitten (he was about 2 months by the look of it), came to us one fateful night when Azwaj “met” him on his way to buy butter for my lava cake.
The rest like they say is history. Awal is now a very boisterous young neutered young mancat and is happily being a terror in the bloggercats household and making sure that all the rest of his siblings are getting the exercise they need by chasing them endlessly. The only time when there is peace is when he is sleeping.. Lol.. that’s our Awal!
Happy birthday my darling Awal. Mommy and Daddy and the rest of your sibling (we hope) loves you so much!

Look at me.. I was a little kitten then and not much bigger than Daddy’s palm but now mommy said I am now like a little hercules! Speaking of which, have you checked out hercules dj equipment at Musicians Friend ? I can’t believe the prices that it is now going for. Everything is so economical. It must be because of the Christmas sale. Make sure you check the site out ok..

I have been known to love playing daddy’s guitar. Whenever I sneak into daddy and mommy’s study, my first destination is always where daddy’s guitars are. Anyway, perhaps if daddy get a behringer xenyx 802 mixer, he can make this solo really fantastic and sell it somewhere and make lots of money? Daddy is always worried that I may damage my teeth or his guitar in the process of me playing but I think I am doing a great job.

So we got Awal neutered on 18 August 2013. He’s been with us since January and we reckon he was already at least 2mths old that time.. so since that makes him around 10 to 11mths now, we feel the time is right to get him to the vet for his snip snip.
We got to Klinik Kembiri early at 9.00am to get Awal a good number so he won’t have to wait long for this turn. I was a bit pissed at some people that just walked into the office disregarding us and other people who were already waiting outside to be called in. Nevertheless, we got Awal to be the 10th cat to be attended to. After registration, we left Awal making sure he knows that we will be back for him and left for breakfast.
We got a call at around 12.44pm to pick him up and by 1.30pm Awal was already home. Here are some picture of him on that day..

It was a cold rainy day and I was hungry. Mommy was working and I didn’t want to disturb her. I knew daddy was still sleeping but I peeped through the door anyway. Suddenly daddy opened his eyes and when he saw me he called all my name. Yippee.. I ran in and joined him on the bed. This is me getting some tender loving strokes from daddy. I love daddy!

Awal is at a stage where he puts everything into his mouth. He finds paper he puts in his mouth, he finds tissue he placed in his mouth. He finds our finger and he puts in our mouth and because our fingers are soft and tender, he starts biting like he has not eaten for days..lol! We think that he is teething so perhaps we thought maybe we ought to get him those baby teething thingy but he haven’t gotten around to that yet. We do have flavored cigars instead so maybe we try that one.. hahah.. maybe he will bite on that one instead of our finger..

Hi everyone.. we at Bloggercats like you to welcome Awal! Daddy found him loitering on our floor corridor at 10.50pm on Monday, 14th January 2013. Here’s the story…
Mommy had asked Daddy to go get butter from the downstairs shop so that she make her chocolate lava cake (more of that at mommy’s food blog later). So just before the shop closes, daddy got ready and went out. Not even 2 minutes later, before mommy could even type silver coins for sale on her keyboard, mommy heard daddy calling her name from the front door with a crying kitten (about a month old) in his palm. It seems daddy was walking to the lift and he heard this meowing. He thought it was from downstairs but as he walked nearer to a neighbour front gate, the meowing got louder and suddenly this yellow kitten started wobbling to him. Daddy looked around to see if there any mommy kitty in site and he didn’t. So that was when he decided to bring the kitten home.
The poor kitten was hungry and tired and right after mommy had given him milk, he fell into a deep slumber in mommy’s arm. Dare I say.. mommy has fallen in love with this toothless boy? The answer is YES! Nevertheless, mommy and daddy still looked out to see if there was any mommy kitty looking for her kitten but since there was none and the kitten and mommy is bonding with the kitten even sleeping with mommy in their bed, it looks like he has found a forever home.
Mommy and Daddy named him AWAL meaning early because he came to us in early Jan.
